TGI Fridays has opened its flagship restaurant in London’s Leicester Square, becoming the largest site that the chain has ever opened in the UK.
The restaurant takes up a prime spot at number 29-30 Leicester Square under Capital Radio London and on the doorstep of London film premieres.
The branch is the 71st to open in the UK and can seat up to 320 guests with indoor and outdoor covers. The centrepiece of the restaurant features an open kitchen, where guests can see their burgers, ribs and steaks cooked before their eyes. Cocktails, meanwhile, come courtesy of a large four-sided standalone bar.
Lauren Whaites, general manager for TGI Fridays in Leicester Square, said: “We’re so excited to be located in such an iconic London spot, surrounded by the excitement of the West End, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming more guests over the coming months and serving them up the unique Fridays experience.”
