Tortilla boosts its store count as newest London site prepares to commence trading

Fast-growing foodservice chain Tortilla has made Harrow the location of its latest Californian burrito and taco restaurant.

The new store will open for business this Saturday and has space for 50 covers. With a range of menu options prepared on-site and more than 430 different combinations available for its tacos alone, the chain is confident its latest London investment will be a success.

The store design embraces the Californian elements commonly found throughout the Tortilla estate, from reclaimed timber to the brushed steel feature lights and cages.

Richard Morris, managing director of Tortilla, said that Harrow has always been on its radar. “We’re incredibly passionate about bringing our Californian heritage and well-loved burritos to people across the country and this is our 36th store,” he commented.

Tortilla first opened in October 2007 and is the UK and Europe’s largest fast-casual Mexican restaurant brand.

It has worked hard to revitalise the way the British public view and consume Cali-Mex food. While bringing a healthy, well-balanced alternative to the fast food market through their offering, they remain high on the list of operators that insist on providing quality products that are ethically sourced and competitively priced.

Although it is predominantly based in London, the company has sites in Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow, Newcastle, Surrey, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham, Southampton and Birmingham.
