True Refrigeration shines the spotlight on kitchen innovation

True Refrigeration insists innovation in refrigeration design has a massive role to play in realising successful foodservice concepts after returning as the sponsor of the Operator of the Year for Multi-Site Kitchen Projects category at the 2019 FEJ Awards.

True is one of the most trusted and reliable brands in the industry and its day-to-day business involves supplying refrigeration equipment for multi-site kitchen projects to established and emerging chains across the globe.

“We work with clients and consultants designing kitchen spaces that fully realise concepts, delivering on core operational and efficiency fundamentals but also innovation. By supporting the Multi-Site Kitchen Projects category, we want to help put a spotlight on this innovation,” said Scott Jones, sales and key account director for the UK and Ireland at True. 

The award that True is sponsoring – and which it will present to the winning finalist on Tuesday, 4 June in Birmingham – recognises national operators that have successfully managed significant site and kitchen roll-outs during the last 12 months. Last year the accolade went to 120-strong restaurant operator Loungers.

“The FEJ Awards offer a unique opportunity to celebrate success in the foodservice industry,” continued Mr Jones. “True Refrigeration is excited to support this institution, which highlights the best new concepts, industry innovators and trendsetters operating today.”

The FEJ Awards takes place on the first night of Commercial Kitchen, Tuesday 4 June, at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

True will be exhibiting key products from its extensive range during the day at the show and many of them have a focus on energy efficiency.

The company produces several of the most energy efficient commercial refrigeration products currently available on the market, and it will be demonstrating to visitors how it can help them achieve targets to reduce energy consumption.

“As more operators consider their environmental responsibilities and target reducing energy consumption across their estates, more than ever, the onus is on equipment manufacturers to continually strive to produce products with ever greater energy efficiency. True have met this challenge head on with our latest products,” added Mr Jones.
