Turbochef sales boosted by Greggs and Starbucks roll-outs

Turbochef Sota

Middleby UK is enjoying a spike in Turbochef Sota sales following roll-outs by some of the UK’s top grab-and-go chains and modifications to the oven’s power supply designed to make them accessible to more of the market.

The company, which is exhibiting at the Commercial Kitchen show next month, cites the high-speed oven as one of its current best-sellers.

Middleby UK sales director, Kenny Smith, said: “Our Turbochef Sota, which is also known as the i1, has recently been rolled out by Greggs in the UK and you will also see this oven throughout Starbucks coffee shops as well. It is by far the most popular of all the Turbochef models and we now have the added benefit of it being available with a standard 13amp plug, as well as its 27amp and 3 phase versions that it, and the rest of the range, boasts.”

MagiKitch'nWith ventless cooking ever on the increase, the company is also predicting big things for its ‘Perfect Fry’ fully automated frying system.
