He said: “I’m looking forward to using my expertise to build relationships and support distributors and end users to give them the best solution for their needs.”
Biggerstaff (below) comes to Victor looking for a new challenge. He brings with him 20 years’ in B2B sales, having previously sold a range of well-known branded products to some of the biggest names on the high street.
Based in Glasgow, the former mechanical engineering student will oversee and develop sales through the distributor network in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
He said: “It’s an exciting new challenge and I look forward to getting to know the industry and the people within it.”
Phil Williams, managing director of Victor, said: “Significant growth during recent years has come from investment in people, by giving them the skills to progress their careers and develop their ambitions.
“Barrie’s catering background and the knowledge he has gained working for some of the biggest distributors in the UK made him the ideal person for the role. Phil’s role at Victor will allow him to use both his experience and his engineering background.
