Victor opens giant catering equipment warehouse after running out of space

Catering equipment and bespoke counter specialist Victor Manufacturing has expanded its site in Bradford.

The company has opened a new 11,000 square feet, three-tier warehouse, which it says will increase storage capacity and speed up customer order despatch times.

Andrew Gibson, sales director at Victor Manufacturing, said: “The existing buildings had become full, limiting our capacity. The new warehouse has freed up space to create more efficient production operations and additional space for new product development.”

Customers are already reaping the benefits, with Victor now able to despatch almost 100 of its most popular products the same day the order is received.

“We are now geared up for same-day despatch any orders placed before 2pm, for the 90-plus most popular products we hold in stock,” said Gibson. “The expansion has also allowed for increased stock levels of popular products and extra capacity for new product development of equipment and custom counters suitable for the retail market sector.”

Victor products are installed across a vast range of catering sites including retail, education, business and industry, pub and restaurant groups and care environments. It is planning to recruit an additional bespoke custom counters installation team this year as it looks to grow that aspect of its business and improve lead times.
