Catering equipment manufacturer Victor Manufacturing has launched a new website with what it calls ‘intuitive features’ to make visitors’ journeys better than ever before.
The new-look site, at www.victoronline.co.uk, now includes product icons so popular ranges such as hot cupboards, tabletop displays and modular counters are just one click away.
Peter Brewin, marketing and communications manager at Victor (main picture), said: “We listened to what our customers wanted and worked hard to ensure it has been designed with their specific user needs at front of mind.
“We understand that caterers and purchasers need to have access to detailed product information to allow them to make informed choices about the equipment necessary for their business.”
Victor manufactures an extensive range of catering equipment suitable for a wide range of organisations, including hotels, schools, hospitals and restaurants.
Its website now features more than 284 product pages covering over 1,000 products. A predictive search engine programme has also been installed, and features dual functionality to enable visitors to search by product name or code from the mass database.
Additionally it allows users to enquire direct from the product page. This ensures the Victor team know exactly what product visitors are interested in, ensuring a quick response and simplified process for customers.
Company news, case studies and all the latest product innovations are also uploaded as well as a new gallery of custom counter installations, while an integrated Twitter feed and social media connections ensures the latest updates are always on hand.
The site is also fully responsive, to ensure it can be viewed across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
Brewin added: “With a quarter of website traffic coming from people browsing on phones – a figure which is likely to increase – it was essential we ensured the website is fully compatible with all devices to deliver a positive visitor experience. We wanted to ensure the website not only looks good but is easy to navigate and the customer feedback we have received so far echoes this.”
