Viessmann is in the process of implementing a new strategy in the UK following a change of managing director earlier this year.
Paul Broadhurst, who formerly ran refrigerated display cabinet manufacturer Hauser, joined the company at the beginning of 2019 and has set out plans to expand its coverage in the retail and hospitality sectors.
He confirmed the business has been working on bringing a fresh approach to the market, with the aim of repositioning itself within the UK.
“At the moment, we are currently developing ways that we can effectively get the message out there that Viessmann systems are ideal for places such as retail operations, supermarkets, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies, hotels and more,” he explained. “With Viessmann, there really is a solution for all.”
Viessmann’s product portfolio includes refrigerated and deep-freeze display cabinets with both remote and plug-in versions, as well as cold and freezer rooms and accessories for installation and maintenance.
Mr Broadhurst worked for Hauser for seven years and has more than 35 years’ experience in the industry, having started his career 36 years ago as an engineer at Winair Refrigeration.
He said he has enjoyed working with the Viessmann team in the past six months to thrash out new ideas and future plans.
“Viessmann has been in the industry for over 45 years and we have a dedicated and experienced team of professionals who are committed in helping the business to grow and succeed. We want to show to our customers, and potential new ones, exactly how brilliant Viessmann refrigeration systems are and the benefits they can bring to the foodservice industry as well as industries outside of this.”
Viessmann manufactures its products at factories in Germany and Finland, and operates local sales offices in 18 countries throughout Europe.
