Vito keeps oil clean in a compact format

Vito XS

If you are looking to significantly slash frying oil cost then oil filtration specialist Vito will be on hand  at the Restaurant Show to demonstrate exactly how it can help.

The company supplies its filtration systems to more than 120 countries and has grown to become the market leader in its field. Its machines start from £1,275 for the VITO 30 model to the high-end VITO X1, which costs £4,750.

Vito is using the show to officially launch the Vito XS, a brand new product that will bring its equipment to operators previously confined by space restrictions.

The Vito XS, which is best described as a half-size version of its popular X1 model, is aimed at high volume frying sites with not enough work space to accommodate the X1.

This came about when some time ago we presented the X1 to a high-class restaurant establishment in Central London,” explained Addison. “They absolutely loved the machine but because of the limited space they had, storage was an issue. We looked into this issue in more detail and decided to approach Vito AG with an idea to build a smaller version of the X1, and here we are.”

New features incorporated into the XS include a hose on the side of the fryer so that it can be stored underneath standard catering benches, a built-in heater to melt any solidified oil in the hose and larger wheels with brakes for easy transportation.

Visit the company at stand UE48.
