Welbilt has confirmed that the integration of coffee machine manufacturer Crem International UK is now complete following its takeover last year.

The brand joins other key brands such as Convotherm, Merrychef, Frymaster, Garland and Manitowoc Ice within its product portfolio and means that Welbilt can now tap into the thriving coffee market.

For nearly a century, Crem International has been developing, manufacturing and marketing coffee machines for a whole host of venues from offices, coffee shops and cafés, through to restaurants, convenience stores and casual dining facilities.

Steve Hemsil, sales director – UK & Ireland at Welbilt, said: “The Crem International UK integration opens up many exciting opportunities and synergies, for both Welbilt, and the Crem brand. As a company, we are dedicated to offering our customers the very best equipment solutions, and by fully integrating with Crem in the UK, we have improved our portfolio further.”

From today, Welbilt will have full responsibility for sales, service and distribution of Crem coffee machines and accessories across UK and Ireland.

As with all other Welbilt UK brands, Crem sales will be processed via the company’s sales hub in Guildford, and warehousing and dispatches will be handled by the company’s Sheffield facility.

Spare parts will be handled by First Choice, its spare parts master distributor.
