The nomination deadline for the FEJ Awards is looming – and we’re calling on the industry to submit entries and recommendations while it’s still possible. 

One of the categories set to be most hotly-contested is the Operator of the Year for Energy Efficiency and Sustainability.

With pressure on food businesses to act as responsibly as possible when it comes to sustainability, not to mention the rising cost of energy bills, the focus on energy efficiency in commercial kitchens has never been greater.

This accolade therefore pays tribute to the operators that are working hard to make their kitchens greener through the right practices, equipment and standards.

The FEJ Awards take place on Tuesday 4 June, the first night of the Commercial Kitchen show, at the Birmingham Metropole.
