Whitbread sets out kitchen reopening plans

Whitbread confirmed today that it will implement a phased approach to reopening its 435 restaurants in the UK, including Beefeater, Brewers Fayre, Table Table, Whitbread Inns, Cookhouse + Pub and Bar + Block.

The plans will see the reopening of pub gardens from 12 April, followed by the full opening of restaurants from May.

On Monday 12 April, a collection of 65 restaurants and pubs in England will reopen their doors for alfresco dining.

Subject to Scottish Government guidelines, 38 sites in Scotland will reopen for outdoor dining (and possibly indoor dining) from 26 April.

From Monday 17 May, all 358 sites in England will reopen for both indoor and outdoor dining, while the opening of restaurants and pubs in Wales and Northern Ireland will be updated in line with government announcements

Whitbread’s food development team has been busy during lockdown and new Sunday Lunch menus will be introduced across the Brewers Fayre and Beefeater estate.
