Restaurant chain Wildwood will procure food display products from Dalebrook Supplies after striking a supply agreement with the company for its 50 restaurants.
Based in London and the south, Wildwood is a collection of contemporary restaurants serving stone baked pizza, freshly prepared pastas and a wide selection of grill options.
Wildwood was first introduced to Dalebrook two years ago after head chef, Marcel Gjini, began exploring innovative foodservice designs for its restaurants.
Gjini was impressed by Dalebrook’s melamine range and has opted for its marble and rustic wood effect platters as they allow it to move away from real wood, which was difficult to clean.
The platters, which can be put through commercial dishwashers, are also shatterproof and break-resistant, meaning they will stand up to the rigours of everyday use in busy kitchens.
Dalebrook and Wildwood worked together to select four different product ranges which are now being used in all 50 restaurants to serve a range of meals, including pizzas, steaks and breads.
Commenting on the equipment roll-out, Wildwood managing director, Jo Bagery, said: “We were looking for a practical and attractive serving solution to showcase our Wildwood menu. Dalebrook Supplies introduced us to the advantages of using melamine in the restaurant environment, and we have been thoroughly impressed with the benefits of these products, without having to compromise on style.”
Wildwood intends to add another three stores over the coming months.
