Winterhalter has unveiled a passthrough dishwasher that has been stripped back to appeal to cost-conscious public sector customers.

Designed specifically for those buying from the public purse, the PT500 is a re-engineered version of the company’s popular PT machine.

The Milton Keynes-based outfit said it offers all the cleaning results and reliability caterers expect from the brand, but in a more basic, budget-friendly format.

It includes key Winterhalter technology, such as a quadruple filtration system that not only enhances cleaning power, by trapping any dirt, but maximises the life of the washwater.

The PT500’s controls are simple to use, offering three programs: short, for low soiling, standard, and intensive. The unit can be tailored, with extra options and advanced features.

Winterhalter plans to showcase the machine at the Public Sector Catering Expo, which takes place on 19-20 November at Telford International Centre.

It will also be exhibiting its UC Masterpiece undercounter machine and Connected Wash technology at the show.
