Yorkshire Building Society has handed a £14.5m facilities management contract to Mitie, which will include overhauling its catering offering.
The five-year deal spans 147 of the financial services provider’s UK sites and will see a tailored foodservice service, enhanced security operation and technology-enabled engineering services deployed.
Gather & Gather, Mitie’s catering arm, will revamp the current catering offering with the introduction of two new concepts – ‘lighter on the pocket’ and ‘healthy options’.
These ranges will reinvigorate onsite food for staff offering enjoyable healthy eating options which are also cost-friendly.
The Building Society will also benefit from the culinary expertise of The Gathered Table, which brings the best and brightest minds in food, technology and sustainability together to pioneer a radical new approach to workplace dining creating better-fed, happier and healthier people in the workplace.
