Wingstop launches third Birmingham site

Wingstop Birmingham New Street

Chicken wing concept Wingstop UK has opened its third Birmingham site today.

To celebrate the opening, the first 100 customers in store will receive free wings.

The Birmingham New Street location will be the second dine-in site in the city, alongside Wingstop Birmingham Bullring.

The brand also has a delivery unit which remains popular among local customers.

Earlier this summer, Deliveroo named Wingstop UK’s Spicy Korean Wings as Birmingham’s all-time favourite takeaway meal, testament to how much the city loves its wings.

The new dine-in site will sell the brand’s signature wings, tenders, burgers and sides, cooked to order and hand-sauced-and-tossed in a choice of 10 bold, distinctive flavours.

Tom Grogan, co-founder of Lemon Pepper Holdings, master franchisee of Wingstop UK, said: “We feel right at home in Birmingham, having already received huge support for the brand; as the data from Deliveroo shows, this city loves Wingstop UK, our signature flavours and the variety of our menu. We are also excited to announce today that we will be opening a further site at Merry Hill in the new year, so watch this space.”

Wingstop UK now operates 37 sites across the country and is aiming to have 40 by the end of this year.
