Notes coffee and wine bars plan to open eight outlets over the next two years


Notes, a coffee shop and wine bar concept with five London is looking to raise £600,000 to fund additional outlets and expand its coffee roastery.

By the first week of June, the crowdfunding website Crowdcube showed £168,640 had been raised so far.

The company, founded in 2010 by five entrepreneurs: Edward Halfon, Fabio Ferreira, Robert Robinson  and husband and wife team Alan and Marion Goulden who collectively bring financial, property management, business and coffee barista expertise to the operation.

Its first branch opened just off Trafalgar Square on St Martin’s Lane, but has since been added to with sites in Moorgate, Kings Cross and Canary Wharf.

The company plans to three new sites in 2016 and five per year thereafter.
