Six more industry professionals awarded with CFSP accreditation

CFSP presentation at Great Hospitality Show 2017

Glenn Roberts, chair of CESA, has presented awards to the latest group of CFSP (Certified Food Service Professional) alumni during The Great Hospitality Show 2017.

Six professionals were awarded the accreditation. From left, the CFSP alumni are Scott Williams of Hobart UK, Helen Eccles of Catering Partnership Ltd, Alan Tilley of Duke Manufacturing, Paul Gilmore of Mechline Developments, Lloyd Newman of LF Spare Parts, and Richard Brown of Glenn Dimplex Professional Appliances.  Glenn Roberts is on the far right.

“There are now well over 400 CFSP-accredited foodservice executives in the UK,” Roberts said.  “The programme is gathering momentum and is raising the professionalism of the industry – not only in this country, but also abroad.  CFSP-accreditation gives credibility as well as knowledge, to both the individual and their organisation.”

The scheme is gaining recognition as a key training and professional development tool and provides students – both suppliers and operators – a holistic understanding of the way commercial kitchens operate.

The next CFSP course will be in June in Luton.  For information contact CESA.
