Hoshizaki hails businesses that have stepped up digital activities in the face of Covid-19

The Kitchen & Equipment Awards is delighted to announce Hoshizaki as a second sponsor.

The commercial refrigeration manufacturer has supported the Catering Insight Awards since 2017 and has now transferred its backing to the online Kitchen & Equipment Awards, a joint initiative between Foodservice Equipment Journal and Catering Insight for this year only.

The ceremony will be premiered on both titles’ YouTube channels during the week beginning 30 November. Hoshizaki will be supporting the distributor Digital Initiative of the Year category, particularly important this year when so many operations have gone remote.

On the event itself, he commented: “We are delighted that Catering Insight are going ahead with their planned awards ceremony under a new digital format. “There’s no question that 2020 has been a challenging year for the hospitality industry, particularly catering equipment manufacturers and dealers that may have faced a down-turn in equipment sales as a result of government-enforced periods of lockdown and closures of hospitality venues.
