Jestic reinforces close ties with trade partners as industry tackles ‘new normal’

Leading foodservice equipment supplier champions Distributor of the Year – Business Development category at Kitchen & Equipment Awards Week

Jestic Foodservice Solutions has doubled its backing for Foodservice Equipment Journal and Catering Insight‘s Kitchen & Equipment Awards Week.

As well as putting its name to the Operator of the Year – Equipment Innovation category, it will also champion the Distributor of the Year – Business Development accolade. This is a category that Jestic has endorsed at the Catering Insight Awards since its inception.

Steve Morris, sales director at Jestic Foodservice Solutions, commented: “We are delighted to once again be sponsoring the Distributor of the Year – Business Development category, particularly as it recognises those businesses who have worked tirelessly to move their business forward over the past 12 months, whether through outstanding results, investment or by implementing new policies that have achieved positive results.

Mr Morris said that the coronavirus pandemic has had an unprecedented effect on the lives and businesses of manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and operators alike. But he hopes the industry will be able to pull together to get through the challenges it faces.

“It is only if the catering equipment supply chain continues to work together that we will be able to adapt to the ‘new normal’ and look ahead to what will hopefully be safer, more prosperous times ahead. It is therefore crucial that we look to honour the collective efforts of our peers across the industry through this years’ Kitchen & Equipment Awards,” he said.

Nominations for Kitchen & Equipment Awards Week have now closed and the shortlist will be revealed at the beginning of November. The industry will then be invited to take part in an online vote to determine the winners.

Winners will be announced during the week commencing 30 November in YouTube presentations premiering on both publications’ YouTube channels.
