Juicing equipment manufacturer Zumex is extending the warranty on all its machines to show its support for the hotel and foodservice industry during the Covid-19 crisis.
The company revealed that all machines used by cafes, restaurants, hotels and juice bars will qualify from a two-month warranty extension.
It said the extension will be activated automatically, so customers do not need have to do anything.
Additionally, Zumex said it is keeping its online store open for business and foodservice and food distribution customers could use it to place orders on parts.
CEO Victor Bertolin said: “In these times of crisis and uncertainty that affect us all, one of our main concerns is to look after our customers. On behalf of everybody at Zumex, we want to send our customers our best wishes and hope to help them minimise the impact of the closure of their establishments as best we can.
“Above all, we want them to feel that they are not alone, which is why we have decided to extend the warranties on their equipment for an extra two months, and why the Zumex Store is open for our retail and food service customers.”
Zumex has also sent a comprehensive handbook with Covid-19 recommendations to its customers and distributors, aimed at providing advice on how to use the company’s machines during this period.
The handbook sets out the comprehensive hygiene and sanitising protocols recommended by the company in a highly visual, user-friendly format.
It also features advice on how to use disinfectants and the firm’s own cleaning products, such as the Zumex Citric Active, which is specially formulated for cleaning citrus and commercial juicers.
